Introduction | Born in L.A. I began learning Polynesian songs and dances at the age of 13. I competed in the Merrie Monarch and the King Kamehameha Hula and Chant competitions for four years. I've worked at the Polynesian Cultural Center off and on from 1982 to 1995 as a Dancer, Tour Guide, Lecturer and Cultural Demonstrator and salesman, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Pacific Island Studies and a Master's Degree in Business Administation. I've taught beginning Hawaiian Language for 5 years and I started a Polynesian Dance Studio in Indianapolis IN. I'm a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I served a 2 year mission in Ecuador South America. I am married and have 4 children. I enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine either in the mountains or in the ocean. I love meeting people and telling corny jokes. I don't like being cold. |
