| Introduction | I was born in West Texas and grew up in Southern New Mexico. I was raised in a very traditional Mexican-American family and I thank God for it every day. My parents and grandparents taught me the value of working hard and applying myself as best I can to whatever I do. They taught me the importance of family and being loyal, honest and trustworthy. Being the middle child with two sisters, I found that writing was the best way for me to express myself and that holds true to this day. |
