| Introduction | I am a big fan of good deserts and the arts(drawing/painting). It took me a while to find that cake decorating combined a lot of my passions, all in one. I have to give credit to a list of people: First, my mom who always baked me a delicious pineapple cake for all my birthdays and only my birthday so it was always a year long of yearning for that flavor again. Second, To my lovely Aunti Nadia and her daughter Zeina who took Wilton decorating classes and excelled at it. THis was the beginning for me. But I think the defining momement was an uh-ha moment I had one day of an early childhood memory. I used to love to recite this one fruit tart recipe, over and over again in hopes that when older, I can be allowed in the kitchen to make it. certain things don't have to come true, but that memory always brings me joy and at this instance a confirmation. |
