| Introduction | Greetings! I am Professor Q. No, I'm not a Bond techie with a Ph.D, though that would be awesome. Actually, I'm a writer with a Q-based pseudonym and a tendency to lecture people at length about the most random things. As in, I'm that dork who plays Jeopardy from my living room couch. I am quite enthusiastic about things, either because I like them or because I detest them. And I can, admittedly, be rather...intense. But I'm a friendly mutant, I promise. And I only bite if you let me. |

| Favorite movies | Ooooo...seriously? Do you know how much of a loaded question this is? It is actually easier for me to list movies I hate (*cough*Immortals*cough*) than for me to list movies I love. I do tend to steer away from mindless action flicks (i.e. the Fast and Furious series), but I'm not someone who chases Sundance or Cannes winners, either. I love me a good Superhero movie, and I adore Disney. My television (there's no category for that?!) does tend toward the BBC...but who doesn't love the Doctor and Sherlock? Right? Right. Just ask, if you want. |
| Favorite music | So...I was finally winning the 'My Band is Less Famous Than Your Band' game, and then my music started appearing on the hits channel. Oh well. I wasn't meant to be a hipster, after all. Let's see...I love Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Mowglis, The Black Keys, Phoenix, Passion Pit, Tegan and Sara, etc. I...have a slightly guilty love for Macklemore, as well. And I never turn down Disney sing-a-longs, or a chance to air cello it out with some classical awesomeness. I love me some Big Band music, as well. In fact, with the exception of rap, country, hip hop, and modern R&B, I like some of mostly everything. Oh, I also hate being screamed at. |
| Favorite books | *reads category* *head goes asplode* Oh dear! Um...all things Neil (Gaiman), Jane Austen, and Christopher Moore. The Dresden Files, Green Rider, A Song of Ice and Fire, the Thursday Next series, the October Daye series, the Parasol Protectorate (actually, all sorts of steampunk), the Malazan Book of the Fallen, etc. So I'll go from fantasy to Middlemarch within a few days. But I am surprisingly picky about my fantasy. I tend to stick to author styles, I think. |

Actually, depending on which font one uses, there is totally an I in team. It's hiding in the A. Pretty sneaky, sis. (And meat is murder. Tasty, tasty murder.)
