| Introduction | I am not a blogger, but more of a columnist. I simply post these columns on my blogspot. My political columns are posted at keeninsight. I have an avid interest in politics, an interest I developed as a child when we lived with my paternal grandparents. Everyone watched the news nightly, and all adults read at least two newspapers. I recall seeing Truman on television when I was quite young, and I watched some of the Republican and Democratic conventions when Eisenhower and Stevenson first ran. I have watched both conventions ever since. Growing up, politics and political issues were discussed often, sometimes loudly as we were a split family, politically. Columns posted on keeninsight are family anecdotes, and as the oldest of seven from a his-hers-theirs family, a mother of four and grandmother of four, I have ample material. |
