Introduction	I retired after nearly 40 years in the steel industry in 2010.I then turned my hand to writing and published 3 novels about life in Wales - Putting Things Straight, Driving Things On and Turning Things Around. I have been watching the Pooler since 1967.The great days are behind us I guess but we can still dream. Even that dream was snatched away as we were demoted due to politics rather than rugby. Hopefully we shall return to the Premiership soon. The latest chapter in my life is that I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I wanted to share my experiences via a blog as they might help a fellow sufferer.
