| Introduction | Tim has over twenty years of experience as a strategic planner and organisational leader, with security pedigree as an officer in the Australian SAS. He designed and implemented the Australian Counter Terrorist response arrangements for the Sydney 2000 Olympics; was a principal adviser to the Government of Sierra Leone (2001), during a period of civil war. He was personally selected to raise a sensitive and time-critical national counter terrorist capability (2002). From 2004, Tim consulted to major resource companies on emergency & crisis management before moving to Afghanistan (2005) as the Director of the Joint Electoral Operations Centre (UN) for the Parliamentary Elections: ensuring a safe electoral process for more than 1 million electoral staff and 14 million voters. In 2005, Tim joined The Cohort Group, where he held the appointment of Vice President (AMEA) presiding over growth across core operational markets including Iraq, Sudan and Afghanistan. From 2009, Tim led the business process re-engineering inside Unity Resources Group as the Senior VP- Strategic Development and is now the Managing Director (International Operations) supporting clients in frontier markets. |
