| Introduction | A stay-at-home, first-time mom. One of two cloth diapering, babywearing, EC-practicing, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, Montessori- and Waldorf-inspired parents. I'm a dog enthusiast with four of my own. I'm a strong believer in positive reinforcement training, and have nothing nice to say about training methods that believe a dog is trying to be a "pack leader" and needs to be "put in their place." I'm a writer with a desire to be an author. I work in the YA horror/thriller genre, and enjoy my make-believe worlds almost more than the real one most days - not because my life is awful, but because the worlds are so much fun to be in. I'm a pretty solid homemaker-type: I love baking, cooking, and am learning how to knit. Since my husband is the quintessential absent-minded professor, I literally keep track of everything, from reminding him to take his lunch to work with him to checking our finances. I love my life, and am happy to share it with you. |
