| Introduction | I am Irish, born in Germany in 1965, grew up in Hong Kong and studied geography and history at Trinity College Dublin before returning to Asia where I started working as a journalist, first in print before switching to photojournalism. I am currently living in Bogota Colombia, taking a break from Asia and getting to know Latin America.
