Introduction	The dark side of grad school: blanking on your presentation in front of the entire department, dealing with pain through sarcasm, breakups, bad dates, chocolate overdose, adopting a pet cheese in an attempt to fill the emptiness, and having every party culminate into a contest of whose research sucks the most. What keeps us going: friends, faith, laughing through the questions on trivia nights, chocolate overdose, kitties, cartoon therapy, and the fleeting belief that our problems and failures are insignificant in the face of the Big Picture. Oh yeah and the hope that someday we'll finally be ready for the big g word.(....graduation. Shh!)
