Introduction	Long, long ago, during the last century, I attended PSU in Portland, Oregon and bounced around in different majors. I thought I would be an artist for a while but science captured my interest. I eventually landed in Engineering and spent my career designing various mechanical things. I've returned to my artist roots and have been drawing portraits. For now, I'm only working in graphite. I'm also just drawing from photos. That way, I don't have to be concerned about my subject getting too tired to hold a pose. I like doing candid shots of strangers because it makes for a more interesting subject. --- My wife and I have moved to Phoenix, Arizona from Oregon to be close to our kids and grandkids. What a weather change! Our children grew up in the Pacific Northwest around rain and green but they all congregated in Phoenix. The moss on our backs has dryed up and fallen off. We're slowly getting accustomed to dry and brown.
Interests	Music, Art, Hiking, Photography, Reading.
Favorite music	Classical, some Rock and a little Jazz.
Favorite books	Blue Like Jazz, Same Kid of Different As Me, My First White Friend, others, and most John Grishom books.
