| Introduction | Leading small faith related small groups for many, many years has led me to appreciate open minded sharing of faith issues. We stand to gain so much from being willing to question, listen, and allow the Spirit to lead and teach us. Having the willingness to share the learning and questions we have accumulated during our faith journey will strengthen our personal spiritual life and be a witness to others. One of the critical ways we grow is by hearing each others faith stories. So over the years my method of exploring scripture has become one of asking rhetorical questions with the understanding that there is no right or wrong answer, that would involve the conceit that we know the mind of God, but through each person contributing from their faith perspective the Spirit will lead us closer to understanding - but the questions will continue to be with us. |
