IntroductionMy mother taught me to sew when I was about 10; my grandmother got me interested in quilting. From the two, I've learned about and become interested in all sorts of handmade crafts. It's all about meditating without sitting still (I'm working on that, though). I squeeze as much of the two in as I can--after I'm done teaching and sleeping.

You forgot your mom's birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?

A vase. Put the pits in a circle, connect with superglue, add another layer..repeat until you'd rather not eat another olive for the rest of your life. Talk about devotion.
