Introduction	If you think I'm the person who had enough guts to turn life around and own it, then you're right. My husband and I, along with our three kids, took a leap into the unknown for a chance to live the "good life." This country girl couldn't thrive in neighborhood life - no way, no how. We sold our neighborhood house of ten years and headed nine miles north onto the gravel. When we hit a dead-end road, we knew we were home. Our 29-acre retired strawberry farm (a.k.a. DewKist Acres) now houses four Quarter Horse beauties, a sweet rescued mini horse, a variety of chickens, two awesome Collie dogs, a cute little BichPoo dog in the house, and a handful of cats. Oh, and a John Deere tractor and baler, of course! And here we are, surrounded by beauty & hard work, living life on purpose. Ahhhhh....at last! Now, I will build myself a farm. Come see what the good life is all about, and see what's next....because there's ALWAYS something next!
