About me

Introduction	I am a 28 year old native Austinite with a great love for this town, and state! At a very young age I learned something about myself. I learned that I have absolutely no interest in politics or governmental issues. My partner says it's due to my dislike for confrontation. I can see that. I also feel as though I am not informed and, or, educated enough on any one specific topic. I would love to be more involved in gay rights, or lack of. We want to become more involved, more than ever since our son has entered our lives. From guardianship to insurance, these have become everyday obstacles. Our lack of involvement leaves us feeling helpless, instead of hopeful. So we are no longer going to sit back. From this course I intend to educate myself so that I may become a fighter for our cause, our everyday lives. I'm looking forward to the challenge...all of them!
