Introduction | A Chicago-born social-activist, I've founded Hands From My Heart: a healing ministry for broken-hearted men, women & children. As a survivor of abuse, drug addiction, mental illness and incarceration, I speak from first hand experience. I am an ordained minister, retreat facilitator, former preschool and elementary school teacher. The focus of my current ministry engages my creative gifts: using spoken & written word, body movement and music in the healing process. Personal and collective spiritual wholeness is my goal. You'll find me featured in an online Centered Path interview, January 2004. I have a short story published in the anthology, Life Spices from Seasoned Sistahs, and I'm currently a columnist for Street Pulse (Madison) newspaper. I am a student in excellent standing with the University of Wisconsin Odyssey Project. Watch out for my upcoming one-woman-debut production: Inappropriate Laughter. |

You forgot your mom's birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?
Is it the same man in the moon looking down on me on the Chicago lake front as the one on the West African coastline?
