| Introduction | Like so many others, after turning 40 this year I find myself wondering what is next. I have a wonderful husband and two great kids. One industry (patio furniture) is drying up and the other (travel) is slow starting. I am learning to connect with God on a minute-by-minute basis and find life less stressful with His help. We are raising a strong-willed child and a happy-go-lucky child, both boys. There are techniques that we have learned to help manage the stong-will that could help others and I would like to share them with other parents who are struggling as well as learn from others. Society has dictated how we raise our kids. Unfortunately, this cookie-cutter approach doesn't fit every child. Not being a trained professional I hestitate to offer help but perhaps together we (even stangers) can help each other. |
