IntroductionI am a former art student who works on the edge of the arts as a custom picture framer and general help at an independent art store. I love it, but I needed a fire lit under my butt to continue all my artsy fartsy endeavors. So I created this blog with the challenge of spending one hour per day on something related to arts and/or crafts. This may include drawings, paintings, crochet projects, sewing projects, and occasional baking projects. I am hoping to ignite my creativity to create beautiful and/or useful (or delicious) things. My goal is to use cheap, repurposed, thrifted, or items I have at home already in order to reduce spending and waste. My dear husband Mark and I are looking for a house, so projects may be directed to home improvement. Cheap, pretty, and awesome are my goals!

If your whole body were a hot air balloon, would you stop eating spicy food?

I would not stop eating spicy food, as the gas the spicy food causes would help keep me afloat.
