| Introduction | I'm Pamela B. Townsend--Pam to my friends and family. I'm a writer, editor, photographer... and an animal lover since childhood. Until recently, I worked as a writer, editor, and photographer at the Humane Rescue Alliance in the District of Columbia. I'm now concentrating on freelance opportunities. I've published three dog photo books ("Black is Beautiful: A Celebration of Dark Dogs," "A is for Angel: A Dog Lover's Guide to the Alphabet," and, most recently, a two-in-one flip book: "Brindled Beauties" and "Seeing Spots") to raise money for selected animal welfare and rescue organizations.I'm currently working on a fourth dog photo book, which I hope to publish this year.
