| Introduction | I'm a high school English teacher. After 30-plus years in journalism, I went back to college, earned my MAT in secondary English and began teaching high school. For the most part, I very much like it--although it is nothing like I expected. Teaching English to kids who won't/don't/don't want to read is a tough row to hoe, but every once in a while ... Victory! And that almost makes up for the disappointments. |
