| Introduction | Hello, from Richmond and thanks for viewing our team blog. I really can't believe I have signed up for this relay but I'm so excited to run across Florida with some new friends. I have only been running for a few years and I started running 8k and 10k races, but in 2008 I set a goal for myself to run my first marathon. Through the help of the Richmond Sports Backers Marathon Training Team, I ran both a half and a full marathon. The training team helps to keep runners on track and sets up weekend long runs with the entire team. I have since run another half marathon and will be running the Richmond SunTrust Marathon the week prior to the Ragnar Relay across Florida. I have probably lost my mind. I hope to continue running for both fitness goals as well as for the fun of running and meeting new friends. |
