| Introduction | I grew up around sewing and have loved it ever since I first picked up a needle. I began by sewing clothes for myself and my kids. I moved on to sewing crafts for fairs with my mom for many years before starting my own pattern business, Wooden Spool Designs in 2003. I love to get to play with wool and fabric while I work from home at the same time. My family and surroundings are my inspiration. I am a wife to my loving, supportive husband,and best friend Jeff since 1976. Together we have raised two wonderful children who are both married to very special spouses!! I have 6 beautiful grandchildren, (five granddaughters and one grandson). Jeff and I live in Troutdale, Oregon on 2.5 acres filled with lots of huge fir and maple trees. Our latest additions to the family are 2 lab puppies named Lucy (black lab)and Liberty (yellow lab). |
