Introduction	I live in Austin, Texas. I am the mother of three, and have five grandchildren ranging in age from 18 months to 10 years old. I enjoy doing things with my grandchildren, cooking, gardening, and reading/studying. My current interests are the use of Web 2.0 tools; global, collaborative classroom projects; sustainability and creativity. I am passionate about authentic learning - project-based, interdisciplinary and real-world.
Interests	Spending time with my grandchildren brings me great joy. I also greatly enjoy reading, cooking, studying, creating new projects, and teaching.
Favorite movies	My favorite television shows are Frasier and Eureka. I also like Star Trek - the Next Generation.
Favorite music	I like classical, blues & jazz, country and rock & roll (the old stuff - Beatles are my favorite). I love Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and the Glenn Miller Band to name a few.
Favorite books	Mostly I study - always wanting to learn more and improve my skills in relation to professional staff development.
