| Introduction | I am a 30 something white girl who grew up mostly as middle class. Sure we went through some hard times but I don't remember ever going without things that were considered needs. I am now unemployed,living with my (black) boyfriend who also is unemployed, his aunt, two cousins and his cousin's friend. Other than my unemployment, the one cousin and his friend are the only other's with sources of income in the house. Him and I go to food pantries and stand in line for hours at a time at food drives just to make sure that everyone can eat. |
