| Introduction | Strive to oppose injustices wrought by federal, state, and local governments. With all of my being, I despise the fact that we currently imprison more than 2,000,000 people, are busily executing innocent people the statistics for which evidence class warfare. Adamantly believe that John Ashcroft, George W. Bush, Cheney, et al., are far more dangerous to the United States than bin Laden. Wishful daydreams that we live in the world described by John Lennon’s “Imagine” and true unequivocal rage that we live in the egocentric, avaricious, SUV-driving world described in Iris DeMent’s “Wasteland of the Free.” Love animals, horse back riding, backpacking, and camping – find me and the bears free from cell-phones in the backwoods of Yosemite, the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, or camping on a seashore on the west coast of the Olympic peninsula. |
| Interests | To provide hope and create opportunities for people returning to society by providing access to higher education. To provide formerly imprisoned people the tools and human support they need to find gainful, meaningful employment, and break free from cycles of hopelessness, poverty, and imprisonment. |
