| Introduction | I retired in 2009 after 36 years in the Oilfield, living and working all over the world - Middle East, W. Africa, Australia, SE Asia, and Europe. In 2006 I had treatment for throat cancer. In 2010 I decided to start exploring, and in 2012 drove my Lotus to the Alaskan Artic Circle - The first Lotus to ever make that journey. In 2014 I drove my Toyota Landcruiser from Prudhoe Bay to Ushuaia, in 2015 I drove it all over Europe and N Africa, and in 2016 back across Iceland and Canada, to Australia. I spent the next 2 years rebuilding a 1954 Austin Healey, and in 2019 I was navigator in that car on the Peking to Paris Enduro Rally. I am now looking for some new adventures.........! |
