| Introduction | I live a blessed life, one for which I thank God daily. For 27 years of my adult life, I was in a dream career as an elementary classroom teacher Now retired, I write to encourage others - especially those facing life challenges. I am single. I have 2 brothers, 1 step-sister, 4 nieces, and 3 nephews who I call, family and am blessed with many friends. I believe that we are called to honor our Creator by singing out the praises of His creation. We do that in relationship with Him, with our fellow man and keeping our eyes open to the beauty we can find every day. Even within the challenges that come into each life, we have been promised abundance. “And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name” (Isaiah 45:3, NLT). |
