| Introduction | I am a 40 year old stay at home Mom to my 7 year old daughter. She is my life. I have been married to my husband Tim for 14 years. We have had many changes in our lives starting with the death of Tim's mother, moving in with his father who devoloped alzehimers disease,I personally took care of Dewey until I was no longer able to care for him on my own as he was unable to stand or walk very well at all. This was the most stressful and agonizing thing I have ever done in my life and I pray everyday that no one has to endure watching a loved on surcome to this disease. I am a very loyal, friendly, loving person but I seem to have lost touch with many of my friends during the caretaking. Funny how people disappear when you need them most. So maybe I didn't lose my friends, I lost the people who said they were my friends and obviously were not and ran when the going got tough |
