| Introduction | "We don't need a thinker. We need a doer." I remember hearing Homer Simpson say those words a long time ago, when I used to watch the Simpsons. It's an apropos declaration of my life because I don't always think, but I'll always do. I have a philosophy that "if that person can do it, then so can I." We're all made of the same matter, right? If some dude from the backwoods of Tennessee can make likker from corn, sugar, water, and bread yeast then dammit, I can too. If the guy at the repair shop can fix brakes then surely I can, right? I don't normally ask if I SHOULD do it, but screw it, I'm gonna try. So here we are at my attempt to write a blog using my questionable writing skills and Nikon D5100 Digital SLR camera I bought my wife for Christmas. I travel for work around Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. I enjoy hikes, taking pictures of trees, and eating. I plan on blogging on all of those things, and then some. I hope you enjoy. We don't need a thinker. We need a doer. |

| Favorite movies | Braveheart - because William Wallace consumed the English with fireballs from his eyes, and lighting bolts from his arse. |
| Favorite music | I like all kinds of music. I have great admiration for people that can create music and sing. I can do neither, although I have a few guitars and know a chord or two. |
| Favorite books | Trinity by Leon Uris. A story of the Irish liberation from Great Britain. I read all the Harry Potter Books. I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes Fearless by Eric Blehm. A moving story of Adam Brown who struggled with recurring demons, overcame them, and beat all odds by becoming a Navy Seal. |
