| Introduction | I am not usually a very open person and never really talk that much about my arm because I don't want people to know how I feel and what is going on in my life but I want to share my story and help others if possible when they have hard times. I lost my arm when I was 16 years old in a car accident. I knew that my life would never be the same but I didn't realize that it would be different everyday. Simple things that I never even had to think about became a million times harder and took 10 times longer. I have learned that things that seem impossible aren't... I just have to think about how to do them differently. Sometimes I get frustrated and even scared about trying things and failing but I have learned that it doesn't matter how many times you fail it matters about when you succeed and how great it feels. Mostly I want to share my experiences and daily adventures about living life with 1 hand but I hope that others who have to go through the same thing I go through will find this helpful if they want to do something I have done. I know that I would love ideas on how to do certain things so I want to share mine. |
