| Introduction | I have always enjoyed being active in the outdoors. I retired from the US.Army in early 2008. I live in southeastern Arizona, just eight miles from Mexico and to the east of the Huachuca Mountains. My husband died in late 2021. This blog started out as a journal of my 2009 summer roadtrip with my GSD Sadie, but it's since then molted into a hiking journal with my dogs. We continue to explore the high peaks and red rocks of the beautiful American Southwest. |
