Introduction	Barbara is the coordinator of the Assistive Technology Centre and AT Specialist for the South Shore Regional School Board. She has her M.Ed. from Dalhousie University. Barbara is also a certified Assistive Technology Practitioner from RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America), has Assistive Technology Specialist graduate certification from California State University and LD/AT Specialist Certification and Apple Distinguished Educator 2011. She designs and teaches graduate courses in Assistive Technology for Acadia University and has designed and teaches online synchronous Assistive Technology courses for St.FX University. Barbara has presented at numerous international Assistive Technology conferences and has expertise in utilizing all Assistive Technologies including iPod Touches and iPads to support children with disabilities in educational and employment settings.
