| Introduction | I am Amberly "Ambi", from Chicago. In my full-time job I server as a Curriculum Specialist for a TRiO: Upward Bound program at a university. I am a proud graduate of The University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) where I received my Masters in Higher Ed: College Student Affairs. My undergrad degree is in English: Writing. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I have many other interests such as, higher education, mental health, DIY projects, MAKEUP and of course beauty and fashion. I am the international winner of the Iman Leather and Lace Makeup Youtube video contest. I hope to one day make a full time career out of my organization (Blushing Ambers) that works to help women raise their self-esteem and create positive self concepts of their body image through the knowledge of skincare and use of makeup. The reason I continue to create new content for this blog is because I have found a sense of self worth. I feel the greatest gift you can give a women is the affirmation that she alone is enough. I love makeup because the time I spend doing it, is me giving myself attention. And if time is money, as people say, then I can afford to pay myself some attention. |
