A liberal breathes toleration of people and the freedom philosophy in the soul as an integral part of being, and regards it as a personal taint when the principle is neglected. A liberal is necessarily a libertarian. A libertarian is not necessarily a liberal. It is quite possible to be consistently a libertarian. I believe I am.
