The Church of God Must Change!

Introduction	I am a PK and a life-long member of the wonderful Church of God. I love this great church, cherish our rich heritage, and love our people. I want the best for our denomination! I spent the first portion of my life embarked upon the great adventure of being the son of a full-time Church of God evangelist. When you hear the song "Son of a Preacherman," I have to believe it was written in my honor! Later, when my father became a long-term pastor, I served in increasingly responsible positions in the local church--everything from mowing the lawn, vacuuming the church, playing music, teaching Sunday School, organizing growth campaigns, and so forth. I love the ministry and the people of the Lord, and have been privileged to work alongside the finest members anywhere! I grew to love them like family. The point of this blog is simply to serve as a catalyst (it is hoped) to bring about much-needed changes in the Church of God; changes that I believe are either in accord with a proper understanding of scripture, or are in alignment with reason and commonsense.
