| Introduction | early retiree to Thailand, where I live with my husband, Peter, who composes experimental jazz and classical music. I am studying for an MA degree online, and writing. In Chiang Mai every day is an adventure. After two and a half years here I am still surprised and delighted by sights, sounds, smells, tastes, people, attitudes, events. And every day I am aware that I am very lucky to have this opportunity. After almost losing my sight a few years ago, I am determined to enjoy this life. In this blog I will be posting pieces of writing as drafts, which I will revise/rewrite/extend. I see writing as a process of bricolage or cobbling together textual, linguistic, eclectic resources, playing with them, experimenting. |
