| Introduction | Starting in 2001, my enlistment in the Marine Corps brought me away from home and taught me about travel and adventure. During my free time, I developed a love for the outdoors that had always been in me, and now, after spending some time back home getting an education, and enjoying time with family, I am on my way back to The West and Alaska. From April 28th to August 13th I will be in Alaska learning first aid, mountaineering, and more, with IWLS--International Wilderness Leadership School. They provide technical instruction and leadership training for aspiring outdoor leaders. I expect that I will figure out what's next at some point during my travels. |
