Introduction	Partner in life, love, and improving our home/gardens with my wonderful husband, Ed. We have five hilarious and wonderful grown children and six adorable grandchildren. We live in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley, where I always dreamed of living. Our home is on a hill, with views of mountains and apple orchards, and a very big sky.

Favorite books	I love anything well written and thought provoking. I love authors like Eudora Welty, Kate Chopin, William Faulkner, the Bronte sisters, Pat Conroy, and Elizabeth Berg, Mary Karr, and I adore southern literature. I'm a big fan of poetry as well.
