| Introduction | Kaleidoscope Quilt Shop was established in April 2001 in the back of Lovejoy's on Main Street, a tea room and gift shop. I started with 300 bolts of fabric, and then moved to a 2600 square foot building which now houses 2800 bolts of fabric. I am located in a 19th-century building in historic downtown Whitesboro. KQS was featured in Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler in the fall of 2007 as one of the top 10 quilt shops in the US and Canada. I, Donna Sluder, am the Founder and Owner of KQS. I am a retired banker of 26 years who took my passion for quilts and my business experience and created a warm and friendly environment for quilters. | Interests | I carry a variety of different prints; a few to mention are traditional, civil war, western, novelties, batiks, and contemporary. KQS is known for our large selection of samples and kits. We are the home of quilting patterns by CJ’s Designs (Carolyn Miller) and Joy’s Creations (Joy Cox). |
