Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
I would just pull my lute out of my bag of holding and begin to use my bardic music skills and cast fascinate and then cast suggestion, and tell the whatever's I am up against to give me all their arrows and other various goodies and then leave the area. Cause what you and they don't know is that that I am a level 9 Bard, level 3 Fighter (I know I'm a dork)
