| Introduction | CLOSED BLOG --- This blog began in 2007 as 100% focus on weight loss and self-discovery at the end of a relationship. I called it Losing Weight; Finding Myself. In 2009, I feel as though I have found myself, and the blog is now evolving into a fitness, weight-loss, and dating adventure blog. So I'm renaming it Losing Weight; Finding Men. _______________________________________________________________ It isn't about a number on a scale anymore. It is about being healthy and feeling well. Some people have their heroin, cocaine, meth, alcohol, gambling, shopping. Me? Refined, unhealthy carbohydrates are my vice. I cannot just have "a little" pasta, potato, rice, or bread. Until I learn to eat them in moderation, I will never be in full control of my life and my eating. As a starchaholic, I challenge myself to replace an addiction to carbohydrates with a new life that includes love and the pursuit of happiness, not just some days, but EVERY day. |
