Introduction	I am the Project Assistant on the "DNA and Social Responsibility" project at King's College London Archives. This Wellcome Trust funded project was set up to catalogue the papers of Maurice Wilkins (1916-2004), the Nobel Prize winning biophysicist. During the course of this project I have been priviledged to encounter some wonderful documents and images which both capture the character of the man and highlight the nature of the work that he and his colleagues embarked on at King's College London. The blog was set up to convey some of the exciting material that we were finding but also to give a broad impression of Maurice Wilkins' life.
