| Introduction | My passion, the fuel that feeds my inner fire, is helping other people get their financial lives in order. I love being able to sit down with people, review their current budget (or lack thereof) and help them set up a realistic plan to help them move toward a place in their lives free from financial worry. I've worked in the real estate industry for the past 14 years. I've been a Realtor and now I work as a Loan Officer. Though each check I received as a Realtor was sizable, moreso than those I receive as a Loan Officer, I felt a greater motivation to help people understand the financial side of home ownership. I find that in my current role I'm in the position to fulfill my passion -- I can help people with their finances. At the bare minimum, I can make sure that they end up with a loan that they understand and makes sense for their situation (one that won't land them in a hardship situation a few years out). Money has rules. If you learn them and follow them you'll come out ahead. This is not a place where "rules were meant to be broken". Break these rules and you'll just end up broke. Follow them and you'll build a life of financial freedom. |
