| Introduction | Hello! I'm Clare, until recently I had a standard life, a job and a flat share in London but I gave it all up in order to volunteer in various places within Africa. Although I only originally intended to go to Kenya for a few weeks, my love of travelling and helping have spiralled and I'm still not sure when I'll stop. In between serious development work I have never stopped marvelling at the culture and running into trouble. Life's mishaps are what this blog is all about. When I'm not causing trouble or doodling pictures I love sailing, cooking experimentally, poi spinning, talking to people and hearing their stories. |
| Interests | I love talking to people and the stories they tell. They usually pop up along the way when pursuing my other interests which include keeping up with friends, restaurant visiting, outdoor jogging, poi spinning, dinghy sailing, ale drinking, dancing badly, and exploring any of this city's oddities that take my fancy. |
