About me

IntroductionErgyle the Moth is an infamous Lepidoptera given to me for Christmas by my mother. She apparently found him deceased outside her suburban home in Georgia and immediately thought it would be a great gift for her dearest daughter. She hot glued him to a twig with two leaves and placed him a really hot shadow box. When I opened him on Christmas I was ecstatic! What an honor to receive a dead moth on such a special day. Many people are unaware that moths and butterflies are my greatest fear in life... so what better to give your beloved offspring with a deadly case of Mottephobia in the spirit of Christmas than a lifeless moth glued to a twig and forever preserved behind glass? Ergyle is a true prize and I plan to hand him down to my children one day. It wasn't long until I realized that Ergyle was no ordinary decomposing insect. He speaks words of wisdom so deep that few can comprehend. He also loves to snuggle with people when they fall asleep. While you're dreaming, Ergyle could be there in his little box snuggling with you...if your picture ends up here, you know you've been Ergyled!
