| Introduction | Kyle Kingen is an Indianapolis-based Art(ist) & Design Historian. He currently serves as the Circulation and Communication Supervisor at the Herron Art Library. Kingen received his BA in Art History from the Herron School of Art & Design, including a Certificate in Museum Studies at IU Indianapolis in 2020. They are currently pursuing their Master of Library Science with a specialization in Archives Management, also at IU Indianapolis. As a native of Columbus, IN, Kingen has appreciated art, architecture, and design within his hometown, in addition to Indianapolis and abroad. His current interests are uncovering histories of underrepresented artists and designers, especially that of Herron alumni and central Indiana, as well as architecture from the late 19th century to today. |
