| Introduction | I'm a Cornhusker living in Houston, Texas. I am a case manager for special needs foster children. I love to make crafty projects and cook/bake, mostly for family and friends. :) I started cooking at home primarily when I was diagnosed with a syndrome that for a time required a kind of drastic change in diet. Soon after, my husband and I figured out it's easy and fun to make delicious food at home, and when you make it you know what is in it. Now we also love to try new restaurants in our area and when we visit new cities. I started making crafty projects when I was a kid in 4-H in Nebraska, and then went back to it when our first niece, Harper, arrived. I have really loved making things for Harper, and now that niece Maddie has joined the clan I'm going to be even more busy with little projects. Friends and family have expressed interesting in the projects I'm working on and the recipes we're trying out, so I decided to join the blogging community... |
