Introduction	Dr Zaharah received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Dental Faculty, University of Malaya in 1991. She joined the Oral Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia and started her career in dentistry as Dental Officer. She was posted to several parts of the country for several years before obtaining the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS), Royal College of Surgeons of England in the year 2005. She was trained and attained a Master Of Clinical Dentistry In Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Guy`s Hospital, GKT Dental Institute, King`s College London in the year 2002 – 2004. She returned to Malaysia and has since been involved in core competencies in periodontology training and she was the Specialist in Periodontology in Kuantan since 2006 to 17th October, 2011. She was then posted to Taiping Hospital Dental Clinic on 18th October 2011 till current.
