| Introduction | Hello, my name is Andrea Barber! I am 36 years old and a YSU alumni, receiving my BA in Psychology and Sociology in 2003. I have a 9 year old daughter named Jazmin, whom I love dearly and spend every moment I possibly can with. I also have 3 dogs that I rescued and drive me absolutely crazy but love them. ( Names:Prince, Bella, and Princess) I have spent the last 12 years of my life in the medical field as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. I have also taught a few classes at National College and Eastern Gateway. I absolutely loved teaching, so I decided to further my education with a Masters in Special Ed. I was recently hired as a Teacher assistant to Alexa Kamovitch at Mineral Ridge Elementary School in Special ED K-3!! I am very excited and over-joyed to be working with Alexa, she is amazing and can't wait to start the new school year on Thursday. I am also looking forward to getting to know everyone, yet very nervous to change careers. I want to wish everyone the best of luck!! |
