| Introduction | I am Laura Crean and am a History graduate student at the University of New Hampshire. I am currently writing my thesis on whether men and women's relationship (perception and interaction) with food changed between 1963-1981 as a consequence of the women's movement. I look primarily at popular magazines Esquire and Mademoiselle, but also use Betty Friedan's questionnaires courtesy of the Schlesinger Library. |
